SATURDAY'S RESULTS

Last Saturday a lour hall host hall bogey was played the winners being Powdrcll and Burstall.

On Sunday the club visited Roto. rua and played a return match against the Rotorua Club. The match resulted in a win for the Rotorua Club by 20 games to 10 with two finishing all square. The V/hakatane Club won lour games in the morning with two all square' and they won six games during the afternoon. In conjunction with the match stableford. bogeys were played for the best individual scores. Whakatane succeeded in winning both of these. The winner in the morning was N. Ducker with 36 points, and in the afternoon F. R. Combes with M points topped the list. Tomorrow's Match Tomorrow a Medal handicap will be played for the Veterans and Colts trophies. Players will arrange their own partners and will go off in pairs. Visit to Opotiki A visit to Opotiki has been arranged for Sunday the team to consist of twelve ladies and twelve men. Players will please take their own lunches, and it will be appreciated, if those members wishing to make the trip, will hand in their names to the captain as soon as possible.
