A wedding of interest to Whaka-t tane residents took. place at St. An-* drew's Presbyterian Church, Auckland recently, when Joyce s only daughter of Mrs E. Coul-» stone Road j was married to Lieut. James D. Grounds (U.S.M.C.) of Texas, U.S.A. , The bride, who was given away by Mr A. Keid also of looked charming in turquoise blue frock and carried a trailer spray of spring flowers. Her Miss Wynce That-* wore a very becoming frock, of dusty pink, her cyclamen spray" toning with her frock. ! W.O. Warren Major, U.S.A., was best man. > • Later the bride left for her honey-* moon dressed in a very smartly tailored suit with wine accessories*.. Guests at the reception at the D 6-+ main Kiosk included a number of old Whakatane residents amongst?, whom were Mr and Mrs W. Mr and Mrs A. Reid f Mrs Godma'n and Miss Daldy. - The bridegroom will leave agairi shortly for overseas while the bride expects to journey at a later dajteto the United States.
