MEETING AT TE TEKO

The July meeting of the Te Teko branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held in the Mission Hall on July 3. Mrs Pryor presided over a large attendance. After routine business had been attended to ? Mrs Smith read an article on Domestic Help and. the Future Home from a magazine. Members were pleased that Mrs Goodwin intimated her intention of representing them at the conference. For the roll call "My Favourite Sandwich Filling" some very enticing recipes Avere forthcoming. It was; decided that each member bring to the next meeting sandwiches or savouries of their entries. The competition winners were:— Best flower Mrs Harty 1; Mrs Hallet 2. Preserved vegetables Miss Pryor 1; Mrs Harty 2. The serving of afternoon tea by the hostesses, Mrs Pryor and Miss Pryor brought the meeting to a close.
