PLUNKET EVENING
FLAG 500 The flag 500 evening held at Mrs Mannion's last Thursday in aid of Plunket funds, proved most enjoyable and profitable. There were about 40 guests present and all gave most generously towards the funds. The flag 500 was won by, Mr Des Woolfield's table. A most delightful supper was served by the Plunket Committee ladies, after which several quick competitions were held. The sum of £6 odd was taken. At the conclusion of the function Mrs J. thanked Mrs. Mannion and all present for the support given to the Sosietj' which was greatly appreciated.
