Word has been received to the effect that Pte. H. W. Mexted, of Edgecumbe who was formerly a prisoner of war is- now safe. Miss June Mountain, of Hamilton, who has been spending a holiday with her aunt, Mrs P. McDonald of Lovelock left yesterday morning to return home.
