WEDDING BELLS
GLOVER—LESLIE The Methodist Church, Taneatua ? was the scene of the wedding on May 10 of Avis Joyce younger daughter of Mrs L. M. Le Comte, to Owen ? only son of Mrs M. Glover of Parnell, Auckland. The bride who was given away by her grandfather of woie a charming slim fitting gown of white Magnolia satin with full train. Her tulle embroidered veil was held in place by a spray of white camealas and she carried a shower bouquet of Schasta daisies, chrysanthemums and real maiden hair fern. She was attended by her sister Miss Rae Leslie as bridesmaid, who wore a full length froc'k of cyclamen crepe. Her bouquet was of pink nerines and maiden hair fern. The best man was Mr R. Cain Waimana. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Taneatua Hall and a dance followed in the evening. The Rev. A. F. Attwood officiated, and the Wedding March was played by the bride's cousin Mrs F. Darvill. The bouquets and shoulder were the gifts of a friend, Mrs E. Hill of Opouriao Valley. The. bride travelled in a frock of dusky pink with black accessories.
