PLUNKET SOCIETY

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the above Society was held in the Plunket Rooms on Monday, May 14 at 8 p.m. Present were Mesdames Cairns (chair) Fisher % Dainton. King ; ' Morpetlt and Caisley (secretary). Apologies were received from Mesdames King-r sley-Smith, Morgan, and Timbs. The balance sheets from Opotiki and Taneatua sub-branches were received and also a statement from Waimana re forming a sub-branch instead of a committee as there is at present. On. April 28 ? a donation of £2 2s was received from the Whakatane County Council for whic hthe committee is very grateful. The next monthly meeting to be held will be on Monday, June 11 at 8 p.m. The usual vote of thanks to the chair closed the meeting.
