ADULT EDUCATION
OF INTEREST TO WOMEN , The women of Whakatane and the surrounding districts are again to have the pleasure and privilege of a visit, from the tutor in Adult Edu-« . cation of the. Auckland University College. This time the visit is one. of only Jive days and it is to' be hoped that every woman who can possibly arrange to do so will avail herself of the opportunity so rare in country of hearing lectures oj such outstanding merit. To many women the. word "Ed.u-r cation" has a dreary sound but those who had the pleasure of meeting Miss Maisie Smith last \-ear realise that she is never dreary always interesting and frequently entertaining. Last year the Te Teko lectures were by far the best attended. I his year Miss Smith will be join- . ed for two days by Miss McMillan who will lecture on Home Science subjects. Further information, will be advertised later.
