INDOOR SPORTS CLUB FUNCTION There was a very good attendances at the dance sponsored by the Edgecumbe Indoor Sports Club. The Premier Band kept the dancers in a merry mood, and popular Mr Freddie Burt as M.C. very busy. The hall was pleasingly decorated which added to the air of Mr D. S. on behalf of the Patriotic Committee tliankejl the sponsors l'or the opportunity of saying farewell on behalf of residents to Seaman R. E. Salvidge. and making him the customary pre*: sentation. . I Folowing the supper Mr F. Burt on behalf of the paid a warm tribute to Mr Jack Ho skin for. liis industry as organiser, and his untiring efforts in promoting and supplying a long felt local want.
