THE BOYS' BAND

TOWNSPEOPLE should feel proud of the Boys' Band, an organisation of youths and boys, now of high musical excellence which has never failed to place its best services at the disposal of the public. How many residents know that, on Wednesday last, after playing the hymn accompaniment at the Thanksgiving Service at the Rock, the Band travelled to Taneatua where it repeated its performance in the afternoon; then to Waimana where again it supplied music for a similar service in the evening, and then, was back again late at iiight Jn time to play 'selections at the Welcome Home dance in Whakatane. Well done lads, we ; re proud of you!
