DAY OF PRAYER

WOMEN THE WORLD OVER

NEXT FRIDAY'S OBSERVANCE

This will be observed next Friday February 16. Last year it was well observed throughout New Zealand. It is the Spiritual link that binds the women of every nationality by prayer. As a result of the thank-offering taken at these meetings, last year, £300 was sent to Madame Chiang Kai-Shek for the women and children in China. The thank-offering this year is also to be sent to China, to build up the devastated Missionary and Christian work. Dr. Decker who was in New Zealand from the International Missionary Society said: ''China is the most war-stricken country today, and they have been so brave."
