The position of the three Queens the Carnival now in progress in with the Thornton Gymkhana is as. under:— ■Farmers' Queen (Miss Patricia rjackson) 8000 votes. R.S.A. Queen (Miss Hazel Cave) 6000 votes. Sports Queen (Miss Nancy Fergu son) 5600 votes. Results- showing the varying positions of. the candidates will be published from time to time.
