FIRE BRIGADE DANCE

A REMINDER is given to the dance-loving public of the Annual Fire Brigade Dance to be held on Friday evening next in the Winter Show Hall. This event which constitutes the only opportunity when citizens generally can show their appreciation of the splendid services of the towns voluntary Brigade promises to outbid any of its forerunners in standard and brightness. Proceeds will be devoted to the Brigade's Social Fund.

Proposed Waimana Pound An inspection made of suitable ground for the establishment of a pound at Waimana and an area of 2% acres was selected adjoining the council's property.
