BUDDLE—SAVAGE The marriage was quietly celebrated at St. Aidan's. Churchy Remuera on Tuesday afternoon of Miss Shiriey Anna Savage, elder tlaugh* \ ter of Mr and Mrs L. B. of Te Aroha, to Warrant-Officer 11. Leonard James Buddie, Second N.Z.E.F. (returned on furlough from the Middle East), elder son of Mr and Mrs L. Buddie, of Whakav tane. Canon R. L. Connolly officiate ed. The bride, who was given away 1 by her father, wore a street-length frock of old blue cloque and. a little Juliet cap of artificial flowers with a short veil in the same shade. Sh® carried an armlet of white tulips. The bridesmaid. Miss Golda Sav* age, sister of the bride, wore a frock of old gold cloque made on similar lines and a cluster of flowers in her hair t<b match her armlet of gold tulips. The best man was Second-Lieutenant' W. J. Kennedy, also on furlough from the Middle East. The reception was held at the home of the bride's grandmother Mrs A. LJ Massey Lucerne Road / Remuera.
