CALEDONIAN OPEN NIGHT
SUCCESSFUL DANCE
A good crowd turned out on Friday evening at. the Caledonian Hall where another of the popular Caledonian, Open Night dances was held. The floor was in very good condition and the music, which was supplied by the Premier Dance Band, was first class. Mr Keith Ferguson held sway as M.C. and handled the job very successfully.
Stage decorations made a tasteful setting for orchestra while the committee turned on a very inviting supper. Two Monte Carlos were held and the crowd entered into both with spirit. The winners of these were Miss F. Fife and partner, and Miss Elsie Fife and partner. The Files, in fact, swept the pool.
Dancing continued till a late hour when the crowd wended its way home,, having had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
