CALEDONIAN SOCIETY
OPEN NIGHT DANCE The Caledonian. Open Night dance held on Friday evening was a thoroughly enjoyable affair, a fair sprinkling of the public both young and old turning out to dance the night away to the rhythm supplied by the Premier Dance Band. Mr Bill Howat held his usual position of Master of Ceremonies and evidence of his capability was shown by the manner in which the dance was conducted, there being never a dull moment throughout the evening. The floor was in first class condition, while flowers were tastefully arranged on the stage. A supper such as only the Caledonian Society can serve was prepared by a ladies' committee. Several novelty dances were competed for, and these were entered into wholeheartedly by the crowd. Dancing continued till a late. hour.
