Advice has been received by Mi James Thorn, M.P., who has bene negotiating with Lhe Minister of Works, the Hon. R. Scmplc. for the construction of additional State rental houses in Thames, that arrangements are being made tor tenders to be invited lor the election of 12 houses. The Minister stated that it is hoped that it will be possible to arrange for the supply ol materials without any undue t'elay.
