Donation to Boys' Band The Whakatane Citizens (Boys) Band will benefit by the welcome donation of £2 2s from the Whakatime. Harbour Board. Harbour Board's Picnic With one accord Ihe Whakataiu ! Harbour 'Board lias decided to reinstate the annual picnic trip which was abandoned, three years ago owing to war aconditions. The Board apparently feels that with the lessening strain of war the excursion of old would be a welcome break. Harbour Board's Plan Full agreement has been reached between Whakatane Harbour Board and Borough Council' regarding the former's plan lor the. development of its endowment land "which include the mud Hats at the rear of the Strand.
