POSTAGE CONCESSION

CHRISTMAS PARCELS FOR MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES SERVING OVERSEAS The Postmaster. Mr Lattimorc. has forwarded the following information:— The usual reduced postage rate for the heavier Christmas parcels for the Armed Forces overseas will apply again this year. The rates for Christmas postings will be: For parcels not exceeding :Üb, Is. For parcels weighing between .'}lb and 111b, 2s. These rates, which are in respect of Christmas postings only, will be applicable during the following periods to the countries concerned: — From Ist to MOt.h October: Canada and other parts of North and South America and West Indies. From 15th October to loth November: Australia, Fiji and Pacific Islands.
