TANEATUA BRANCH MEETS The monthly meeting' of the. Taneatua branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held on Tuesday 19t.h, Mrs Prince, president,, presiding over a good attendance of members. The usual business Avas proceeded AA r ith at the conclusion of Avhich Mrs Prince AA'clcomed a new member Mrs, Downes. Members Avere reminded of the visit of the Dominion president, Mrs Orr, to AAva'keri on Monday 25th Avhcn it was hoped that in spite of it being a holiday a good number of members would be present to hear Mrs Orr. Arrangements for the Garden Party to be held at Mrs Peebles rc-> side nee on NoAXunbcr 16th Ave re finalised. A letter from Hamilton re the inter-provincial meeting to be held on November ,'bxl Avas receiA'cd and it was resolved that the letter be taken to Awakeri for further discussion. Mrs Yeoman kindly judged the competitions Avhich Avere Avon as folJoavs: Lemon cheese, Mrs )i. Hill 1; Mrs Tocker 2; Mrs Anderson 3. Lettuce. Mrs Mitchell 1; Mrs Fox 2; Mrs Bennett '.i.
