Richards of Messrs John Burns) Ltd., the well known Auckland firm, took a ticket in a competition for a useful grocery list. To his surprise, when revisiting the town yesterday he learnt that he had' drawn the winning number. Instead of collecting, Mr Richards decided to donate the parcel which included sugar, bacon and other household necessities, to the victims of the recent Commerce Street fire, Mis' Watarawi and family. His gesture deserves the highest commendation.
