GRANT OF £1500
LARGER .SUM ANTICIPATED
The Department of Agriculture has advised the Whakatane County Council that an amount of £1500 has been allocated to this council for control of noxious weeds. The County Clerk reported that lie had communicated with the Department of Agriculture asking if the grant of £1500 was incorrectly stated, as previous correspondence had indicated that the grant would be £2500, of which £500 was to be allocated to the Ruatoki district for materials.
