Warning signals to be. erected and adequately maintained on each ■section of road operated on. 7. That no carting be carried out during the hours of darkness. 8. That no carting be undertaken during wet Aveather. U. Whakatane Paper Mills to maintain the section of road carted over and to be responsible for damage caused through such ca'rtage to bridges and culverts. 10'. Heavy traffic fees to be payable to the Whakatane County Council. The. County Clerk reported, that on the 23rd instant the Whakatane Paper Mills •were employing two men on the road doing surface work. Such men had been working on the road since the beginning of July. After a brief discussion the council resolved that the permit be issued as recommended.
