Petrol Tax Allocation
With the object of minimising the xieed for borrowing by local bodies, the New Zealand Counties' Association has decided to urge the Gov--crnment to make available My way ■of subsidy sufficient proportion of the present petrol taxation to county ■councils for the maintenance of county roads. The matter will be the subject of representations by the -executive o£ the association.
