PERSONAL
Friends of Mr and Mrs W. Henderson, of Whakatane, will be pleased to learn that their son Flight Sgt. F. M. Henderson now serving in the Middle East has received the Distinguished Flying Medal. No Word of the citation is as yet to hand though we understand this was gazetted on Anzac Day. A feature of this award lies in the fact that Flight Sgt. Henderson is only 21 years of age.
