MEDICOS CAMP
WEEK-END AT LAKE
\ PROFITABLE OUTING
Members of the Home Guard Medical Corps spent a profitable and enjoyable week-end at Lake Rotoma, where pleasure was combined with practical experience to mark the second outing made possible through the courtesy of the O.C. Lieutenant E. Ramson. The party started at 2 p.m. on Saturday and was rewarded despite the weather prophets with almost h complete absence of rain. Time passed all too quickly with lectures. drill, bandaging and *1 brace of route marches. The latter item proved distinctly popular mainly on account of the bagpipe trio which headed, the column as it loot-slogged along the lakeside road. The camii cook another popular feature of the establishment was voted 'tops' by all members and there can be no doubt as to«the popular selection of future camps. Xhe evening lectures 'First Aid Necessities' and 'Poisons' were taken by Cpl H. Young and Lieut. E. Ramson. Once again the whole week-end was voted a great success and of definite value from a practical point of view.
