WHAKATANE CLUB ACTIVITIES
EASTER TRIAL FOURS
The Whakatanc Rowing Club since its reawakened interest lias trained a sufficient number of its young members to be able to stiaga a scries of trial fours on Easter Monday next for the A. J. Canning, trophies. The competitions wil'l take place at 2.30 p.m. Four crews of young men .who have all learned tlieir rowing during the past two mouths will be competing. The trophies wil'l be presented to the winners by Mr Canning at the club dance which is to be hold ir* the King. Street Hall the same exerting. It is. hoped that all interested: in this fine sport wi'll attend both, functions and thus assist in the peri manent re-establishment of the club.
