SUCCESSFUL TE TEKO DANCE
MONTHLY SERIES IN FUTURE
The Te Teko balls Avas. ay ell filled last Wednesday evening when the local Patriotic Committee ran a very successful dance in connection with the raising of funds
Music Avas supplied by the Gaiety Boys orchestra and, a full programme of modern and old-time dance music was provided. The Val'eta competition wsa won by Mrs Bramley and Mr Housam nad the Monte Carlo by Miss Davis and partner. Other novelties to add to the enjoyment, were a Spot Waltz and: the Gay Gordons. The committee ladies attended to the supper arrangements and provided, a dainty repast. In connection with the dance two competitions resulted as under: Pig (donated by Mr Burr) won by Mr Jack Charley and sheep (donated by Mr McDonald) won by Mr R. Harty. It is intention of the committee to run similar dances in future at monthly intervals.
