Wheelo-'k was known to be a good and careful carpenter and during the period of his residence in Whakatane he made models of boats, etc. which proved not. only his personal skill but that he must have been possessed of a wonderful range of tools. Since his death it has been decided to sell all his tools and the auction thereof will take place at Canning's Auction Room on Saturday morning next 23rd, instant at 10.30 a.m. It is a long time since such a comprehensive set of good carpentering tools (some, of which cannot now be purchased in shops) has jbeen offered for sale.
