DUE TO FLOODING

In the course of his report to the Borough Council last Monday the Electrical Engineer, Mr F. W. Lysaght, stated: "Considerable trouble has been experienced during the past month

with high flood levels. It liasi been necesary to stand by during' the night on several occasions in case of a sudden break

through, also during day periods. The water being over lft above the floor level for some time. The slate of the water lias been very bad indeed and is at present in the same state.
