BETTER THAN ADULTS

CHILDREN ON THE ROADS

TRAFFIC INSPECTOR'S OPINION

'"There is no doubt that children are behaving better on the roads than adults." commented the Christchurch chief traffic inspector, Mr J. Bruorton. He said that the traffic department was still keeping up its campaign to educate children on road sense and the rules of the road.

The department had a miniature set ol' traffic rules for instruction purposes, and this was again being sent round the schools, for it had been found that the children learnt much from playing traffic games with, the lights, which had more than proved their worth.
