WEDDING BELLS

McCLENNAN—GARAWAY

A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Knox Church on Saturday, July 18, 1942, at 11 a.m. when N'orali Miller, third daughter of Mr and Mrs H. O. Garaway, Whakatane, was married to Lieutenant James Graham McGlennan, elder son of Mrs and the late Mr J. McGlennan of Eureka. The bride looked very sweet in a clover ensemble with black accessories to tone and carried a posy of violets, daphne and delphiniums. A reception for intimate friends of the bride was held at 98 King Street where a cheery fire and bowls of spring flowers made the room very attractive. When leaving on a short honeymoon tour by car, the bride was wearing an embroidered Marina suit.
