WOMEN IN WAIKATO 22 TO 25 AGE GROUP A special order was signed last week oil all women resident in Hamilton and Cambridge who have attained the age of 22 years but have not reached the age of 26 to ter with the district -manpower officer at Hamilton, if they have not already done so. "The local reserve of woman-pow-er registered for direction into essential work in Hamilton is insufficient to meet the requirements of vital war work which will be carried on there," said the Minister of Industrial Manpower, the Hon. A. McLagan, in explaining the reason for the order. While all women aged .from 22 to 27) inclusive are now under compulsion to register, with the exception of a few exempted classes such ns hospital staffs, any others who desire to offer for war work may do so voluntarily.
