CYCLISTS PROSECUTED SEVERAL OFFENDERS FINED Fred Hunia who was charged before Mr El. L. Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Court yesterday admitted ]>y letter that lie drove a motor cycle on May 2 without registration plates, that he was an unlicensed driver and that the machine did not have the requisite certificate of fitness. Fined a total of .'3ss plus costs 50s. The Transport Department proceeded against Leyh Wilson for riding a bicycle without lights on May 19. Fined 5s and costs: 12.5. J. L. Sutton was also charged with a similar offence committed on June 2. Fined 5s and costs 12s. Lan Aberhart was also charged on the same count and was fined 5s and costs 12s.
