PERSONAL
Mrs M. King, Waimana, is at present on holiday in Auckland. Advice has been received by his lather, Mr Andrew McLean, that his son, A. F. (Tika) McLean who was farming at Thornton before joining up with the R.A.F., has been missing since May 30, following the air operations over Cologne. The death occurred suddenly on Monday of Mr A. L. Donaldson, a well known and highly respected; resident of Whakatane. The 1 funeral takes place this afternoon, from his residence in Victoria Avenue. A lull obituary will appear in day's issue.
