THE DISTRICT'S TOTAL
The; following arc the amounts collected at the various Post Offices in the Thames district during the "Bonds for Bombers" week.
Tcp marks go to Tauranga where tlic sum of over £15,000 was invested. Te Puke's eight and a half thousand compares, on a pop illation basis, more than favourably -with any of the towns, and the effort in coming third in the district list reilects great credit on the local Post Office staff for their untiring efforts in furthering the sales of bonds.
