WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

TANEATUA MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Taneetua Institute was held recently in the Taneatua Hall, when a large number of members attended. The president, Mrs J. Adams, opened the meeting, over which the secretary, Mrs Frost, read the minutes of the previous meeting. Competitions: Best Dahlia bloom, first and second place won by Mrs P. Anderson. Jar of plum jam,, Mrs V. Alexander 1, Mrs P. Anderson 2. Guessing competition was won by Mrs F. Gardner. The roll call "Suggestions to improve the Institute," was well responded to. Afternoon tea was served and the meeting concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
