In view of his departure for camp this morning, on Saturday evening the staffs of the Regent and Grand Theatres met in the Regent Lounge to bid farewell to. the manager Mr M. Chittenden. A pleasant evening resulted during which a presentation was made. Misses B. Boswell, P. Carter, H.Cave and I. Sisam, ex-pupils of the Whakatane District High School* who gained their Higher Leaving Certificates last year left to. commence their studies at the Auckland Training College on Saturday. Other Training College students who left to resume their studies were Misses G. Ferguson, E. Gow and J. Wilson*
