EDGECUMBE MEETING Eclgecumbe W.I. Jield its monthty meeting on Tuesday last. There , was a verjr good attendance and . Mrs Learning presided. Nominations ? were received for the committee to ; be elected at the annual meeting in . March. A demonstration of wcol rug making was given by Miss J. Pepperell, and this was followed Avith interest by all members. Competitions were won by Mrs , > G. Irving and Mrs Crang. A talk on England was given with extracts from H. V. Morton's book' "The. Search of England." Afternoon tea was served by Mrs ' Hall and Mrs Burgess and the afternoon concluded with the National Anthem.
