LAMB PRICES KEEN

A GOOD YARDING

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. report a good yarding at their annual Sheep Fair .lield on February 11. Approximately 13,500 sheep were penned and a total clearance was effected.

Lambs were keenly sought after and made up to> £1 for ewe lambs. Good store wether lambs made from 10s to 16s;. cull lambs from 6s to 9s; good 2-tooth ewes from 23s to 265: mixed aged ewes from 12s 6d to 13a 6d; aged ewes 8s to 9s; 4-year ewes 18s; 4-tooth wethers from 17s 9d to 19s 6d; Romney rams from 4 to-5% guineas.
