SEEN FROM THORNTON SHONE LIKE GOLD A vivid flash of golden light falling swiftly in the South eastern sky was noted by a resident of Thornton, Mr W. Aleksick, last Friday morning about 11 a.m. The observer declares vthait quite by accident he hap■pened' to glance up at. the sky and) was astonished at the sight of the fiery ball descending to earth. The light, he says was of a brilliant golden character and there was no accompanying noise. Through the actual passage to eiarth was noted the lower visfon was obscured 1 by a distant line of gum trees.
