POISONERS' SECRETS
NOTORIOUS MURDERERS DOCUMENTS PRODUCED Secrets of some of the most notorious poisoners of the last quarter of a century are referred to in the will of Sir William Willcox, the poison expert. Sir William, who died in July last, was medical adviser to the Home Office from 1919. Among poisoners whom his evidence was instrumental in sending to the gallows were Crippen, Armstrong and Seddon. Sir William left his confidential medical and scientific documents ''which are of value for the purpose of research and medical knowledge" to his wife and son Philip. Many Documents The documents, Dr Philip Willcox tokl the Sunday Express, comjjrise many large bundles. "I have not been through them all yet," he said. "Dr Roche Lynch, senior analyst to the Home Office, is very anxious to have the Crippen, Armstrong and Seddon cases, and my mother and I will certainly give them to him and any others he may like. "There is also a large bundle dealing with the barbituric group of poisons Avhich will lie preserved— they will always be useful for reference." Sir William's estate has been proved at £32,635 gross, with £32,409 net.
