WOMAN GRANTED DECREE HUSBAND LEFT WITH TEMPER A Scotswoman -whose Australian husband left her when she* did not make porridge to his satisfaction was granted a decree nisi in the Sydney Divo.rce "Court on the ground of desertion. She was Eliza Crisdale (formerly Duncan), Darling Street, Balmain, an.d the husband was Walter Wallace Crisdale. They married in Glasgow' on, June 23, 1919, when Crisdale was a member of the A.I.F. Describing the quarrel which led to her husband's departure, Mrs Crisdale said: "It started at breakfast when my husband made some excuse about the porridge not being cooked the way he Avanted it. "I said: "Well, in future I will nol put salt in the porridge; you can salt it yourself.' Se he got up from the table in a temper and A\ent to the bedroom and sulked." When shr returned from some messages her husband had gone.
