YESTERDAY'S COURT LIST At yesterday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court judgment for the plaintiff by default was awarded in the following undefended civil cases:— M. Michael Ltd v Matthew Savage, claim £8 10s lOd, costs £2 8s 6d: Whakatane Hardware* Ltd v John Rutledge, claim £19 14s, costs £2 16s; Beacon Printing and Publishing Coy v A. T. Jury, claim £1 14s, costs 10s; v P. Matclian, claim 13s 4d, costs 15s; H. L. Armstrong v J. Aubell, claim £1 lis,, costs £1 lis. Judgment Summonses An order was refused when Hutchins Furnishers Ltd proceeded against D. J. Dennehy as was in the case Radley and Co. Ltd. v N. C. Jensen. G. K. Burnett w r as ordered to pay British Office Supplies £13 9s in default 13 days gaol. Taylor Himini w T as ordered to pay M. Michael Ltd £9 14s 6d in default 4 days in gaol. Barton and Co proceeded against Vernon H. Kemp the claim being £11 6s, and on order was made that £1 per month be paid with the default 11 days gaol. Maintenance Breach Andrew Clark Shaw was ordered to pay arrears of maintenance to his mother of £3 ss, in default 3 days Imprisonment.
