DRUIDS LODGE
. . EDGECUMBE INSTALLATION The half yearly installation of officers of the Edgecumbe U.A.O.D. was held last Thursday evening. Despite many difficulties resulting from war conditions and consequent depletion of membership, a goodly compam r assembled as tAVo new members were initiated into the order. Visitors were present from Roto rn;i and the District President, Brother G!eeson installed the following officers with impressive ceremony.— Junior Past Arch, P.A. Bro Thompson; Vicc Arch, Sister Learning; Inside Guardian, P.A. Sister Snelling; Outside Guardian, P.D.P. Bro Lindsay; Arch Druid Bards, Sister Mullins and Sister Mickell; Vice Arch Bards, Bros J. and G. O'Brien. District President Bro Gleeson complimented the Lodge on its rendering of the initiation ceremony and on its effort to keep -alive the ' spirit of good fellowship and mutual goodwill that is the essence of Druidism. A presentation of a diploma and Past Arch* collar was made- to PtA. K. Mefville who has successfully completed his term of office in the lodge. A tasty supper was served and. the evening concluded.
