ABATTOIR PROPOSAL
CONSENT TO SITE
A letter was received at yesterday's meeting of the County Council requesting the consent of the council pursuant to Section 13 of the Me alt Act, 1939, to the establishment of the proposed Borough abattoir on Parish of Rangitaiki, Lot 30C 2D 1. The property is that on which the slaughterhouse of Mr C. A* Timbs and Sons is at present located, and it is possible that the Borough Council might acquire additional adjoining l land's in connection with the proposal. The Council's consent was gilven.
