PAPER MILLS SUPPLY

SUGGESTION AT BOROUGH COUNCIL A suggestion that perhaps r the power generating plant at the Paper Mills could be used to supply Whakatane in the event of an emergency was made by Cr A. J. Canning on Monday night. The electrical engineer, Mr F. W. Lysaght, stated that the matter was being considered and investigated by the power authorities in the Bay.
