Mahy Sen. stated that he had discussed matters in regard to the water supply to the Children's Learn to Swim Pool, Ohope, with the County Engineer, Mr G. H. Brebner and. Councillor H. C'. McC'ready. Pf it was that the Works Committee itinerary would not permit of its visiting Ohope, the writer stated that he would welcome the opportunity of conferring with mittee at Whakatane. The Works Committee reported having inspected the site of the proposed dam of the pool and recommended that the Council donate £10 to the Qihope Domain Board to finance the construction of the dam and any second hand timber necessary.
