PERSONAL
Before commencing business at yesterday's meeting of the County Council, the chairman, Mr J. L. Burnett, expressed regret that Cr D. W. Spence was absent owing to being an inmate of an Auckland hospital. It was decided to write St letter of sympathy to Cr Spence.
