YOUNG MAORI BEFORE COURT

REMAND GRANTED

Before Mr J. G. Mulholland, J.P., at the local Court on Monday morning Tai Reneti, aged 20 years, of Poroporo, was charged with having, on or about November 4 or 5, stolen a man's bicycle the property of Mary Ellen Gamble.

Stating that the Police wished to make further enquiries Sergeant M. Farrell sought a remand until November 18. This was granted.
